Expat Life

Moving to another country is stressful. It doesn’t matter how organised you are, you’re always going to feel like you’ve missed something. Once you arrive in the US, you’ll probably feel like the odd one out who doesn’t quite know how the system works. These articles will help you get a leg up as an expat.


You might be in the US for work, to study or with your spouse. Even though you’ll spend a lot of time exploring your immediate surroundings, you’ll also want to see more of the country. I’m working my way across the continent slowly, and writing about trips overseas too.

I love running. If you get the right downhill can feel like flying. Other times it feels like wading through quicksand, but let’s not dwell on that.
